Memorial services for Bonnie Hart, 73, of Tekamah, were held Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2002, at the Herman Legion Hall. Private family interment was held prior to services. Mrs. Hart died Friday, Dec. 28, at her home in Tekamah.

Bonnie Hart was born July 27, 1928, in Tekamah to Willie and Alma (Suchanek) Gibbons. She was a graduate of Tekamah High School.

On Feb. 14, 1950, she married William Hart in Beatrice. The couple lived on their farm in Burt County until moving to Herman in 1988. After her husband’s death in 1993, Mrs. Hart continued to live in Herman until 1998, when she moved to Tekamah.

She worked at the ASCS office in Tekamah for 13 years in the compliance department. Mrs. Hart enjoyed painting and making cards.

She was a member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Tekamah, Chapter 216 of the Herman Eastern Star, and AARP.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Randy and Carla Hart of Tekamah, and Kevin and Melissa Hart of Hastings, daughter and son-in-law, Dawne and Tim Smith of Alliance, six granddaughters, four great-grandchildren, sisters and brother-in-law, Betty and Justin Lundstrom of Aurora, Colo., sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Betty and Bill Bowden of Adams.

In addition to her husband, Bill, she was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one sister.

Memorials may be directed to Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Tekamah.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
