Mamie M. Ehresman Hart, age 79, of rural Craig, passed away early on Thursday, Aug. 11, 1988 at Clarkson Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska.
Mamie was born on Feb. 11, 1909 at Palmer, Nebraska to Joseph and Margaret Steeple. She was united in marriage to Paul M. Hart on July 7, 1953. Mr. Hart passed away on June 17, 1982. Until her retirement Mamie worked for the Omaha World Herald in the classified Department for many years.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, John and Norma Ehresman of Omaha of Omaha, two grandsons, John Ehresman, Jr., and Michael Ehresman; one granddaughter, Kimberly Ballentine, and one great-granddaughter, Melissa Ballentine, all of Omaha. Mamie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Paul, two brothers, John and Earl and two sisters, Jewell and Amy.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 12, 1988 at the Craig United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Hal Smith officiating. Interment will be in the Craig Cemetery.
Arrangements are being handled by the Hamel & Peck Funeral Home in Tekamah, where friends may call after noon of Friday.
