Arlington native Opia Lee Hart, 90, of Blair, died Monday, June 9, 2003, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Home in Blair.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, June 12, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Home Chapel. Interment will be in the Blair Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 11, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m.

Opia Lee Hart was born Sept. 5, 1912, in Arlington to Edward V. and Laura E. (Nilsen) Newkirk. She attended Bisbee School in Orum.

On Nov. 16, 1935, she married John F. Hart in North Platte.

Mrs. Hart worked for Blair West Pharmacy for 19 years, and retired in 1984. She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Blair and the Happy Quilters.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Betty Hart; granddaughter, Ann Suing; and a great-grandson and great-granddaughter. The family is all of Blair.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Oliver Thomsen and John Hart; three brothers and five sisters.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
