FORMER ARLINGTON MAN DIED DEC. 30

ARLINGTON - Funeral services for Walter Hart, age 32, who died in an Omaha hospital on December 30 following a lingering illness, were held on Wednesday afternoon in Omaha.

Walter Hart was the son of Mrs. Mary Hart, and was born and reared here, graduating from the Arlington school, and later attending a Burroughs business school. He was a salesman for the Burroughs Adding Machine Company for a number years, until his health became so poor.

He is survived by his widow, Mabel Alma, one son, Richard, both of Omaha; his mother, Mrs. Mary Hart, now of Mead; three brothers, John E. of Arlington; Frederick of Red Oak, Iowa; Raymond L. of the U.S. Army; one sister, Mrs. Helen A. Carter of Omaha; two half brothers and two half sisters. Interment was made in the Hillcrest cemetery in Omaha. #2-Published in the Pilot-Tribune January 6, 1944

WALTER HART, 32, IS CANCER VICTIM

Walter W. Hart, 32, Omaha, died Friday as the result of a long illness caused by cancer. Funeral services were held at 11 o’clock Monday at Crosby-Meyer Funeral Home in Omaha, with burial in Hillcrest Cemetery.

A native of Arlington, Hart was the second son of Mr. and Mrs. William Hart. He was graduated from Arlington High School, later attending a training school operated by the Burroughs Adding Machine Co. Until the time of his illness, he was employed by the company.

Surviving are the widow, a son, his mother, and a sister, Mrs. Helen Carter, all of Omaha; and three brothers, John of Arlington, Frederick of Red Oak, Ia., and Raymond in the U.S. service.
