(veteran) Memorial services are 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 16, at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Blair for Edith E. Hartley, 87, who died at Crowell Memorial Home May 12, 1990. Rev. Tim Anderson will officiate.

There will be no visitation.

Edith E. Hartley was born August 19, 1902 in Graceville, Minnesota to Frank and Lucy Richey O’Neill.

She was a private nurse. She served with the military during World War II from September 1, 1943 to July 16, 1945.

She married Elmer McKinnis. He preceded her in death.

She married Herman Hartley. He preceded her in death on June 9, 1965.

Also preceding her in death were her parents, one son, Pat; and one brother.

She is survived by one son, Ivan McKinnis of Blair; step-children; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and step-grandchildren.

Her body has been donated to the State Anatomical Board at the University of Nebraska, Omaha.

Memorials may be made to St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Blair.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
