FORMER RESIDENT DEAD

M. O. Hartsell, a former resident of Blair, who moved to Colorado some fifteen years ago, died in Denver, Col., on the 27th inst. is the word received by John Rodgers in a letter from Mrs. Hartsell. Hartsell was a worker in the horse collar factory here twenty-five years ago and after it burned, he fitted up the building now owned by the Y.M.C.A. on Lincoln Street and conducted a bakery there for a time. Deceased was a charter member of the Blair A.O.U.W. and carried a policy of insurance for $2,000 in the order which John Rodgers, as treasurer of the order, is caring for, seeing that the payments were promptly met. The Hartsells were highly respected by their acquaintances here.

FORMER BLAIR MAN DIES

Mr. John Rogers received word from Mrs. Hartsell that Mr. M.O. Hartsell had died on March 27 at their home in Denver.

Mr. Hartsell will well be remembered by Blair citizens, having formerly been in the bakery business here.
