Funeral services for Mrs. Elmer (Zeta) Hartung, 83, will be Friday, November 25th at the Ludvigsen Funeral Home in Fremont. Mrs. Hartung passed away on Tuesday, November 22.
Services will be at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Fremont at 11 a.m. on Friday. Visitation will be at the Ludvigsen Funeral Home on Wednesday and Thursday from 3 to 9 p.m. each day.
Zeta Bartling was born on June 30, 1905 in Washington County near Telbasta. She married Elmer Hartung on December 12, 1928 at Immanuel Lutheran Church at Hooper.
The Hartungs farmed in the same area until they moved to Fremont in 1962.
Mrs. Hartung is survived by her husband Elmer, two daughters, Mrs. William (Iona) Norenberg and Mrs. Betty Schenshew, all of Fremont. There are also three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and one sister, Delia Krohn of Hooper.
