RELATIVES ATTEND FUNERAL IN MICH.

Rudy Thaden, accompanied by his sister, Mrs. Fred Peck (or Beck) of Bennington, and a nephew, Howard Kay, attended the funeral services of Harold Haskins at Constantine, Michigan held there on Thursday, May 18th. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Dixon, of Fremont, accompanied by the deceased’s mothers, Mrs. Dollie of Logan, Iowa attended.

Mr. Haskins is survived by his wife (the former Celia Thaden of Fort Calhoun area); 4 children, Harold Jr., U.S. Navy; Ronald E., West Point Academy; Sheila and Garry at home.

Mr. Haskins, aged 48, World War II veteran, passed away at Toledo, Ohio Monday evening suddenly of a fatal heart attack while working as brakeman on the New York Central Railway.

He was born in Logan, Iowa.
