Dorothy L. Daggett, 80

Dorothy L. Daggett, age 80 of Blair, died May 13, 2016, at her residence in Blair. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 17, 2016, at the Parkview Manor South Community Room at 5:30 PM. Graveside services will be held in Wallowa, Oregon in July.

Dorothy L. Daggett was born on June 14, 1935, in Remote, Oregon, the daughter of Deloss and Gloria Appleton. She was the mother of six children. Dorothy grew up in central Oregon, where she worked as a nurse for over 40 years working in several hospitals and clinics. She was an avid volunteer with the Red Cross and had a passion for quilting her entire life and square dancing in her younger years. She moved to Blair in 2012 to be closer to her family. She was an active member of the Parkview community.

Dorothy is survived by five children: daughter, Sherry Robinson, sons, Jerry (Cheri) Robinson, Mike Robinson, Patty (Jim) Davey, Ivan (Brenda) Thacker; 10 grandchildren; 17-plus great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild; and sister, Marie (Richard) Jones.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charlie Daggett; and son, George Thacker.

Services provided by Campbell Aman Funeral Home, Blair.
