The pupils and teacher of room No. 2 Central were saddened on Tuesday morning to learn of the death the evening before of little Edna Lippincott, a member of their Third Grade. Edna was about nine years of age, though quite small, and a favorite with her playmates. She had been out of school since last October.

The little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. P. Lippincott, aged nine years old, died suddenly of heart disease on Monday last and was buried from the Episcopal church Thursday afternoon. Service by Rev. Talbott. Edna was a bright and promising child, but had been sick for some time. It is a sad blow to the family.

Edna, the nine year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thos. Lippincott, died at their home in this city, last Tuesday, of heart disease. The little girl had been ailing for about a year past, from the effects of la grippe, and her death was not altogether unexpected. The funeral services will occur at two o’clock today and the Rev. Cannon Talbot will officiate. The sympathy of the entire community goes out to the bereaved parents and family.
