Mrs. Ephraim Lippincott died at her home north of Blair of consumption on Tuesday of this week and the funeral will take place this afternoon at 1 o’clock, interment in Blair cemetery. Mrs. Lippincott was born and raised in this community and was loved and respected by all who knew her and her death will be greatly felt. The bereaved husband has the sympathy of the entire community.

OBITUARY - Mrs. E. C. Lippincott, after several months illness at her home in Cuming City township, passed to life immortal last Monday evening, Oct. 18, 1898. She was an affectionate wife and mother, and leaves a great many relatives and friends to mourn her untimely death. About a year ago, Mrs. Lippincott went south in quest of health and seemed to get better for a time but on her return home grew worse and has not been well since but was better at times. Mrs. Lippincott was a daughter of A. T. Johns, and was born and raised in Washington county. The services were from the residence today and a large concourse of friends followed the remains to the Blair Cemetery.
