BARBARA M. LIPPINCOTT, 73

Funeral Services for Barbara M. Lippincott, age 73, of Blair were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 2, 1989 at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, with Father Tim Anderson officiating. Burial was in the Blair Cemetery.

Barbara died at the Memorial Community Hospital in Blair Thursday, August 31, 1989.

Barbara Derra was born on October 7, 1915 at Lawrence, Nebraska to William and Emma O’Neil Derra. She attended elementary school at Lawrence and graduated from Hasting High School in 1932.

She married Howard Lippincott on June 15, 1939 in Loveland, Colorado. They lived in Hastings, Nebraska until moving to Blair in 1951.

Barbara was the World-Herald distributor from 1961–1967.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Howard; two sons, Roger Lippincott of the Philippines and Edwin of Walnut, Iowa; three grandchildren; two brothers, William Derra, Omaha, Nebraska and Otto Derra, Paxton, Illinois and two sisters, Pearl Cary, Lebanon, Oregon and Clara Fuller, Hawthorne, Nevada.
