FRANK LIPP SERVICES HELD

Services were held Monday, September 26, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Fremont for Frank R. Lipp, 85, of Arlington, who died September 22, 1983, at Memorial Hospital of Dodge County in Fremont of Multiple Myeloma.

The Rev. James Hahn and the Rev. Timothy Gierke officiated. Military services were held graveside by the Allen, Nebraska, American Legion Post No. 131 at the Greenwood Cemetery, Wayne, Nebraska.

Frank R. Lipp was born June 9, 1918 at Allen, Nebraska to Antone and Mary Boeshart Lipp.

He lived most of his life in northeast Nebraska and had also farmed at Hale, Missouri. He moved to Arlington in 1969. A farmer and truck driver, he had also worked for the State of Nebraska and Safeway Stores, Inc.

He was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Fremont and the American Legion Post No. 131 at Allen , Nebraska. He had served in World War II in the African and European theaters.

He married Dorothy I. Juhlin April 6, 1958 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Laurel, Nebraska.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; and two daughters and one son-in-law, Kathleen and Rodger Rabbass of Norfolk and Colleen of Wayne. Five grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. Mary Lipp of Billings, Montana; brothers and sisters-in-law, Antone and Dorothy Lipp, Chillicothe, Missouri; Arthur and Doris Lipp, Laurel, Nebraska and Carrol V.
