Marlene J. Lucht, 76

Marlene J. Lucht age 76 of Blair, died May 21, 2016, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Community in Blair. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 27, 2016, at 10:00AM at First United Methodist Church in Blair. Burial will follow services in the Blair Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 26 from 6:00 to 8:00PM at Campbell Aman Funeral Home in Blair.

Marlene J. Lucht was born on December 19, 1939 in Blair, Nebraska. She was the daughter of Clarkson and Viva (McGowan) Husk. She was raised in Blair and graduated from Blair High School in 1958. After her graduation, she attended Nebraska Wesleyan. Marlene managed the Blair Federal Credit Union for 32 years and worked for OPPD for 20 years. She was a member of the Eagles Club Women’s Auxiliary, The Blair Fire Department Women’s Auxiliary, First United Methodist Church, and was a leader in the Boy Scouts for 36 years and served on the Camping Committee for Little Sioux Campgrounds. Marlene received countless awards from the Boy Scouts of America over the years for her hard work and dedication.

Mrs. Lucht is survived by her husband, Willis Lucht of Blair; son, Scott (Tammy) Lucht of Blair; sister-in-law, Mary Lucht of Springfield, Missouri; sister-in-law, Nina Lucht of Hastings; nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association or the Blair Rescue Squad.
