Esther M. Jensen, 94

Esther M. Jensen, age 94, passed away May 15, 2016, at Risen Son Christian Village in Council Bluffs. She was born on March 15, 1922, in Bloomfield, NE to the late Henry and Helena (Kurth) Hansen.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert Jensen; 1 brother; and 2 sisters.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Janice and Stephen Wright; grandchildren, James Wright and his wife, Trina, and Kelli Zakaras and her husband, Jeffrey; great-grandchildren, Samantha Zakaras, Taylor Zakaras, Kiersten Wright, Marissa Zakaras, Caleb Wright, Spencer Zakaras and Calyssa Wright; great-great-granddaughter, Gysele Vite; brother, Harold Hansen; and sister, Martha Beckman.

Visitation Thursday, 6-8 p.m., at Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Graveside service, Friday, 10 a.m., in the Blair, Nebraska Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family.
