RITES FOR ANDREW FOWLER TODAY

Andrew J. Fowler, a resident of Kennard for a number of years, passed away at the Blair Hospital Sunday evening after an illness of three months.

He was born at Gretna, Nebraska, on May 3rd, 1892 where he grew to manhood. He was united in marriage to Olga Larsen on April 12th, 1917 and they then moved to Kennard where they have made their home ever since.

Two children were born to this union, Dr. K. L. Fowler of Linden, Michigan, and Lois, Mrs. William Hildenbrand, of Lodi, California. Also surviving are three grandchildren all of Linden, Michigan; his father, Ed Fowler of Douglas, Wyoming, one brother, William of Casper, Wyoming; three sisters, Mrs. H. E.. Wickwire, of Riverton, Wyoming; Mrs. Bertha Brimmer, of Glendale, Arizona; and Mrs. L. A. Wickwire of Omaha, besides a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services are being held today (Thursday) at the Methodist Church in Kennard with burial, under auspices of the Bendorf Funeral Home, in the Kennard cemetery. Rev. P. L. Thorslev is in charge of the funeral service.

Mr. Fowler 55, Succumbs

Kennard Man, Railroad Employee, Dies Of Illness; Funeral Today

Ill three months with heart and kidney ailments, 55-year-old Andrew J. Fowler, well-known Kennard man, died at Blair Hospital Sunday. He was a railroad employee for many years.

Funeral services are being held at the Kennard Methodist Church today (Thursday) at 2 p.m. The Rev. Peter L. Thorsley, pastor of Emmaus Lutheran Church of which Mr. Fowler had been a member since his baptism on Mar. 30, 1929, will officiate. Interment will be in Kennard Cemetery.

Mr. Fowler, born May 3, 1892, was a native of Gretna, Nebr. where he grew to manhood. He and Olga Larsen were married Apr. 12, 1917, after which they came to Kennard, their home since.

Surviving him are his wife, Olga; a son, Dr. K. L. Fowler of Linden, Mich.; a daughter, Mrs. William Hildenbrand of Lodi, Calif.; his father, Edward Fowler of Douglas, Wyo.; one brother, William Fowler of Casper, Wyo.; and three sisters, Mrs. H. E. Wickwire of Riverton, Wyo., Mrs. L. A. Wickwire of Omaha and Mrs. Bertha Brummer of Glendale, Ariz. There are three grandchildren, all living at Linden, Mich.
