BERT LINTZ DIED EARLY WEDNESDAY

Bert Lintz, former Blair barber and more recently operator of a small café on North Sixteenth St., died at Memorial Community Hospital early Wednesday. He had been in failing health for several years. Failing eyesight caused him to quit the barber business several years ago and he has since operated the café a block north of the Blue Goose Store.

Albertes Lintz was born June 4, 1910 at Merna, Nebraska and lived at Merna, Ravenna and Pleasanton, Nebr. He married Miss Ruth Razey of Pleasanton in 1931 and together they operated a barber and beauty shop. In later years, he worked in shops at Missouri Valley, Kearney and Blair. He came to Blair in 1948 as a barber and was well known to many Blair people.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth; a son, Jerry; and by two daughters, Mrs. Delmar Sonderup of Blair and Mrs. Michael Barrett of Omaha. His mother, Mrs. Lena Lintz also survives and she helped him considerably in the operation of the café.

A sister, Mrs. George Hoss resides in Missouri Valley, Iowa. There are seven grandchildren. The Bendorf Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 P.M. at the Bendorf Funeral Home. The Rev. Noloan Blakkob of the Assembly of God will conduct the service.
