Mrs. Robert Hundahl Dies

Former Jean Tobin, 25, of Tekamah, Mother of Two, is Found Dead

Mrs. Robert Hundahl, 25, prominent young Tekamah matron and relative by marriage to a Blair family, was found dying late Tuesday at the showplace Hundahl home north of Tekamah.

Mrs. Hundahl died while enroute to a hospital. It was reported that she had taken her own life with an overdose of pills.

Mrs. Hundahl was the former Jean Tobin, member of a prominent Tekamah family and well-known to many Blairites.

It is announced that the funeral will be held this (Thursday) morning at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Tekamah. Burial will be in Tekamah Cemetery.

Surviving Mrs. Hundahl are her husband, Robert, also two sons, ages 4 and 1; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Tobin Jr. of Tekamah; a sister, Miss Barbara Tobin of Tekamah, former Blair school teacher; and three brothers, Robert and David Tobin of Tekama and Brother John Tobin, who is a Trappist monk stationed in Missouri.

Mr. Hundahl is the son of Ernest Hundahl, former Blairite who is now an insurance executive residing in Texas. The young widower is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. K.P. Hundahl of Blair. K.P. Hundahl is the retired manager of the Lutheran Publishing House here.
