Mrs. Hundahl Dead, Age 77

Wife of Former Publishing House Manager Dies; Rites Friday

Mrs. K. P. Hundahl, 77, wife of the former manager of the Lutheran Publishing House here, died Tuesday night at the Hundahl home, 507 West Front St., following a lingering illness.

The body was removed to the Bendorf Funeral Home. Services, it is announced, will be held at 1 p.m. tomorrow (Friday) at First Lutheran Church. Officiating will be the Rev. H. C. Jorgensen, local pastor, and the Rev. M.J. Christensen of Pella Lutheran Church in Omaha. Burial is to follow in Blair Cemetery.

Native of Denmark, Mrs. Hundahl was born as Mary Paulsen Apr. 3, 1875, and had spent most of her life in America.

Surviving Mrs. Hundahl are her husband; two sons, David and Ernest Hundahl, both of Dallas, Tex., and one daughter, Miss Pearl Hundahl of Omaha. Other survivors include two brothers, Martin and Paul Paulsen of Blair, three sisters, Mrs. Lena Hansen of Blair, Mrs. Christina Halting of Minneapolis, Minn., and Mrs. Elizabeth Nelson of Windon, Minn.; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Rites For Mrs. K. P. Hundahl Friday

Mrs. K. P. Hundahl passed away at her home in Blair, Tuesday, September 23rd following a long illness.

Mary Paulsen was born in Denmark April 3rd, 1875 to Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Paulsen. At the age of nine she came with her parents to the U.S.A. and they located in Blair.

On August 10, 1894 she was united in marriage to K. P. Hundahl. They spent twenty-one years at Arthur and Morehead, Iowa, then moved to Blair where they resided for twenty-seven year. After living in Omaha for eight years they returned to their home in Blair in 1950.

Two sons, David J. Hundahl and Ernest Hundahl, both of Dallas, Texas, and one daughter, Pearl of Omaha were born to Mr. and Mrs. Hundahl. Other survivors besides her husband and children are five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Martin and Paul Paulsen of Blair, and three sisters, Mrs. Lena Hansen of Blair, Mrs. Christina Halting of Minneapolis, and Mrs. Elizabeth Nelson of Windon, Minnesota

Rev. H. C. Jorgensen and Rev. M. G. Christensen of the Pella Lutheran Church in Omaha will officiate at the funeral services at the First Lutheran Church, Friday, September 26, at 1 p. M. with burial in the Blair Cemetery. The Bendorf Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements

Pallbearers will be nephews of Mrs. Paulsen.
