Sara J. Sack, 78, died Saturday, March 12, 2011, in Randallstown, Md.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 19, at the St. Thomas Church in Randallstown. Interment will be in the Blair Cemetery this May.

Sara Jane O'Hanlon was born Oct. 11, 1932, in Blair to Philip and Lozein (Rhoades) O'Hanlon. She graduated from Blair High School and attended the University of Nebraska in Lincoln.

She was an accomplished musician who was featured in a solo piano recital at Joslyn Art Museum in Omaha while still a teenager. She taught piano for many years and also sang in church choirs. She owned two yarn and needlework stores as well as a needlework import business.

She is survived by her children, Lynn Offutt of Randallstown, David Sack of Dover, Del., and Philip Sack of Randallstown; grandchildren; Sara and husband Brian Combs, Timothy Offutt, James Sack and Todd Sack; great-grandchildren, Brendan and Andrew Combs and Jocelynn Sack; brother and sister-in-law, James and Gail O'Hanlon of Lincoln; seven nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Sack.
