A Mass of Christian Burial for Hulda M. Lyons, 88, of Blair will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 19, 2002, at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Blair. Interment will be in the Blair Cemetery. Mrs. Lyons died Tuesday, July 16, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair.

Hulda Mae Lyons was born Oct. 5, 1913, in Blair to Joseph and Orlena (Barger) Sublett. She lived in Blair most of her life.

On Dec. 8, 1927, she married Clifford Vincent Lyons in Blair. She was a homemaker and the owner of the Southside Market. She loved gardening and taking care of her flowers. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her grandchildren and family. She also loved her little dog, Trixie.

She is survived by her son, Robert E. Lyons of Marshalltown, Iowa; four grandchildren and their spouses; 11 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Vincent Joseph Lyons; a sister; and seven brothers.

Campbell-Aman funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
