Norma Lynch, 83, of Blair, died Saturday, April 10, 1999, at Crowell Memorial Home in Blair.

Services will be 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 13, 1999, at Heafey-Heafey-Hoffman-Dworak-Cutler Funeral Home in Omaha. A private graveside service will be at Calvary Cemetery in Omaha.

Norma K. Lynch was born May 29, 1915, to A.R. and Mary (Griffith)Knode in Bladen.

A graduate of Brownell Hall High School In Omaha, she attended Omaha University, Carleton College and graduated from Creighton University.

On Feb. 14, 1942, she married John "Jack" Lynch in Omaha.

Norma worked for many years as a case worker for the Department of Social Services.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Molly and Ted Bentley of Fort Calhoun, Nancy and George Henderson of Aladdin, Wyo., Trish Lynch and Kathy Lynch, both of Omaha; son and daughter-in-law, John and Jackie Lynch of Omaha; grandchildren, Heidi and Michael Livermore, Jennifer Tunender, Heather Tunender and Jim Brill, Shannon, Kelly and Corey Lynch; and one great-grandson, Andrew Livermore.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. and Mrs. A.R. Knode; and her husband, John Lynch, who died in May of 1980.

Memorials are suggested to Crowell Memorial Home.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
