Mr. W.O. Hatch passed out of this life at 4:30 Tuesday morning at the good old age of 92 years and about 5 months. The deceased was one of God’s noblemen, kind and very considerate of people afflicted with physical infirmities. His genial nature won him many friends at Crowell Memorial Home, to which he came about four years ago, he being here when the writer came in March, 1921. He left for California that year and was away for about a year, when he returned and stayed a few weeks, then going to Iowa and Minnesota, from thence he came several months ago, staying at the Home until death called him to his eternal home. Mr. Hatch was a native of Ohio. In the years of 1883 and 1884, he served as a member of the Nebraska State Legislature. The deceased is too well and favorably known to need any introduction in the counties of Burt and Washington, where his many friends will greatly miss him. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 Friday afternoon at the Crowell Home.

Mr. and Mrs. Adams and Mr. Harry Smith, of Tekamah, came to the Home Tuesday and visited with Mr. Wesley Mason and Mrs. Ursula Sisson. They had hoped to arrive in time to see the late Mr. Hatch before he died, but found he had passed away before their arrival.
