RITES HELD FOR WILBERT HAWKINS

Wilbert L. Hawkins of Fort Calhoun passed away in Methodist Hospital in Omaha August 9th.

He was born Dec. 29, 1909, and was 51 years of age.

He is survived by his wife, Ellen Anne (Beales), and four children, Catherine Anne, Judith, Susan and Paul. Also a brother, Otis, of Fort Calhoun and Harold of Tekamah, and four other brothers and two sisters.

Mr. Hawkins was employed by the C. & N. W. Railroad for many years.

Funeral services were held on August 12th. The Sievers Funeral Home was in charge and burial was in the Ft. Calhoun Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Allen Rasmussen, Howard Bilderback, Fred McNair, Wm. Michelenko, Chuck Sill and John Wriedt.
