Funeral services were Saturday, February 19, at Lattin-Dugan-Chambers Chapel for Edwin Hawley, 90, of Elk City, who died February 15, 1983, in Memorial Community Hospital in Blair.

The Rev. A. A. Swanson conducted the services. Burial was in Ridge Cemetery at Fremont.

Edwin Hawley was born March 5, 1892, in Fremont to Mr. and Mrs. William Hawley. He was raised on a farm six miles east of Fremont near Elk City and lived there most of his life.

He married Jessie Van Allen August 8, 1927, in Fremont. She preceded him in death August 19, 1973.

He is survived by three nieces, Mrs. Neil (Helen) Apker, Omaha; Mrs. Roger (Ruth) Johnson, San Jose, California; and Mrs. Harold (Ila) Cason, Vienna, Georgia; and one nephew, Leroy Holtz, Mount View, California.
