Rick A. Sederburg, 42

Rick A. Sederburg, 42, of Elkhorn, died Friday, March 18, 2011.

Funeral services are 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 22, at Bethany Lutheran Church in Elkhorn.

Rick A. Sederburg was born on April 17, 1968, in Blair, to Richard L. and Janet K. (Lorsch) Sederburg. He attended Blair schools where he was an exceptional athlete in football, baseball and track. He was a member of the graduating Class of 1986.

He went on to attend Dana College and Kearney State College. He became an electrician while working for his father at Dick's Electric in Blair.

On October 25, 1991, he married Tori Renz of Fort Calhoun at First Lutheran Church in Blair. After their marriage, they lived in Bennington, North Loup and Omaha before settling in Elkhorn to raise their daughters.

In Elkhorn, he was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church. He became a successful electrical contractor, owning Rick's Custom Electric, Inc. from 2000-2010.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed bowling and competitive softball. He also enjoyed coaching and watching his girls' softball teams and many other social activities. Above all things, he enjoyed spending time with his family and deepening his relationship with God.

He is survived by his wife, Tori; daughters, 13-year-old twins, Mackenzie and Elizabeth, Hannah, 11, and Rylee, 3, all of Elkhorn; parents, Dick and Jan; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jo Ann and James Lode and Traci and Cory Duckworth, all of Blair; in-laws, Russ and Sandy Moucka of Omaha; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many friends.

FUNERAL SERVICE Tuesday, March 22, 11am at Bethany Lutheran Church, 4200 N. 204th St., Elkhorn, NE. VISITATION Monday 3-9pm at the Funeral Home, with family receiving friends 6-9pm. Memorials received will be designated by family at a later date.
