Everett Haynes, age 88, died March 26, 1989 at a private nursing home in Omaha.
Everett was born September 15, 1900 near Skidmore, Missouri to Francis M. Haynes and Mollie Sue (Karr) Haynes.
He was married to Laura E. Bishop in Belvidere, Tennessee on February 11, 1928.
He and his family moved to Washington County, from Merrick County, Nebraska in 1945. First he farmed just north of Fontanelle for four years, and then moved southeast of Blair. He was retired from farming when they moved to Omaha in 1975.
He is survived by his wife, Laura, son Laverne and two daughters, Mary Mill and Lois Wernimont, all of Omaha; six grandchildren; three great-grandsons; two brothers and one sister.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters.
Services were Tuesday, March, 28, 1989 at the Kremer Funeral Home in Omaha.
