BELLE HAZEN DIED IN SPRINGVILLE, UTAH

Word has been received in Arlington of the death of a former resident. Belle Hazen, a daughter of Orrin and Margaret Hazen, was born in 1878, attended the Arlington schools, was an active member of the Congregational Church, where she sang in the choir and was church clerk for 20 years. She held many offices in Rebecca Lodge. She also taught school in Nebraska.

She married William H. Crane in 1903 and daughter Inez and son Elliott spent their youth in Arlington.

In 1920 they moved to Colorado. Mr. Crane died in 1923. She married Lorin Woodruff in 1930, was widowed in 1943. In 1950 she married Sam Hecker and was again widowed in 1958. In 1960 she went to live with her daughter, Inez (Mrs. Ainer Chader) in Springville, Utah. After a fall, resulting in a broken hip, she passed away.
