She was born in Rushville, Ind., Sept. 29, 1846, and after her marriage with Mr. Hazen, went to Douglas County, Nebr., where they resided a few years before coming to Arlington, twenty-five years ago. The funeral was held from the Congregational Church Sunday afternoon at two o’clock. She leaves beside her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Estelle Jones of Chadron, and Mrs. Wm. Crane of Arlington. Mrs. Hazen has been in poor health for a number of years, but it was not thought her condition was so serious, she having been confined to her home but a few days.
