Iver was born 10 August 1875 in Denmark. He married Christine Christensen Miller on 18 November 1903. (She was previously married to Niels Miller, deceased.) They farmed near Kennard.

Christine passed away on 17 January 1945 and is buried in the Kennard Cemetery by her first husband.

Iver sold his farm and returned to Denmark.

His death certificate gives his name as Iver Willumsen; Occupation Retired; and a Naturalized citizen of the United States.

He passed away 24 October 1959 at the age of 84 in the hospital at Hillered, Denmark. He was interred in the Egebmksvang Cemetery at Espergarde, Denmark. The disposition of his effects were to his daughter, Mrs. Anna Andersen of Espergarde, Denmark.
