George David Olsen Jr. age 63 of Blair, died June 7, 2016 at Methodist Hospital in Omaha. Funeral Services will be held Monday June 13 at 10:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Blair with burial following at the Blair Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, June 12 from 4-8 p.m. with family receiving friends from 6-8 at Campbell Aman Funeral Home.

George David Olsen Jr. was born June 17, 1952 to George David Olsen Sr. and Beverly Ryan of Blair. George grew up and graduated high school in Blair. George married Crystal Beck on July 7, 1989. To their marriage they had 2 daughters, Becky and Sara Olsen. George worked several different jobs during his life. One job that he was always very proud of was taking over George’s Tavern after his father’s death. George proudly served the Blair community as a member of the Blair Fire Department and Rescue Squad for 13 years. His hobbies were working on his 1953 Chevy Bel-Air and following his daughters in their events. He was always a very proud father.

He is survived by his wife Crystal Olsen of Blair, daughters Becky Olsen and Sara Olsen of Blair, brothers Will and Don Ryan, sisters Margie Ryan and Jerri (Curt) Pedersen, brother-in-law Al (Cindy) Beck, Fred (Sandy) Beck, mother-in-law Berneta Beck, Aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather Bev and George Ryan, his father George Olsen Sr., sister Nancy McIntosh and niece Amy Herman.
