LURVEY, LLOYD P “COACH”

May 10, 1926 – Dec 5, 2010

Served during WWII with the U.S. Army in Saipan. He was a longtime volunteer baseball coach at Bellevue University for over 35 years, for which he received a lifetime achievement award. Preceded in death by: Parents, Homer and Lola, Brothers, Bill and John, Sisters, Helene Andrews and Anne Waldeck. Survived by: Sisters: Lillian Thieman, Omaha, Sue (Max) Turnquist, Gothenberg, Brother, Herb (Imo) Lurvey, Bennington, Many nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Lloyd’s Life: Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2010 at 11 am at All Saints Episcopal Church (93 & Blondo). Memorials to the family c/o Braman Mortuary.
