Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 4 at Kremer Funeral Home, 63srd and Maple in Omaha for Clarion O. Haynes, 70 of Lakeland Estates, Blair who died February 1, 1992 at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Omaha.

Clarion O. Haynes was born in Omaha November 23, 1921 to Charles and Harriett Cone Haynes. he married Frances (Fran) Pedersen December 27, 1940.

He was a foreman with the CB & Q Railroad for 38 years. He and his wife moved to Lakeland after he retired.

He served with the United States Navy in the South Pacific during World War II. He was a member of American Legion Post No. 1; the Boy Scouts; American Wildlife Federation; and First United Methodist Church in Blair.

He is survived by his wife, Frances of Lakeland; a daughter, Arlene Haynes of Omaha; sons, Charles Haynes of Palm Springs, California; and Clarion Haynes, Jr. and his wife, Wanda of West Point, Nebraska. Four grandchildren, Jody Haynes, New Orleans, Louisiana; Daawn Haynes of West Point; Kayle Haynes of Lincoln and Kymberly (Kimberly) "Kim" Haynes (Holman) of California; one great-granddaughter, Krystal Haynes; two brothers, Roy Haynes of Omaha and Herb Haynes of Hutchison, Kansas; and two sisters, Lorraine Leonard of Sacramento, California and Hildreth McCue of Carter Lake, Iowa also survive him.
