William Harold Nielsen, age 88, of Blair, Nebraska died June 11, 2016, at his residence in Blair. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 15, 2016, at 10:00AM at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Orum with a luncheon to follow services at the church. Graveside services will be held in the Blair Cemetery following luncheon. Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 14 from 3:00PM to 8:00PM at Campbell Aman Funeral Home, with family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00PM and a Masonic service at 7:00PM. )

William Harold Nielsen was born on January 12, 1928, in Fairview Township, Mellette, South Dakota, the son of Andrew and Edith (Richter) Nielsen. He was baptized at Immanuel Lutheran Church on June 21, 1996, and continued as a member until his time of death. )

He is survived by his wife, Patricia (Hardy) Nielsen; stepchildren, Judi Camile Mahan, and husband, Don, Robert Randell Hardy, and Robin Hope Tierney and husband, Timothy; grandchildren, Jason (Amanda) Mahan, Courtney Jane Mahan, Robert Randell Hardy Jr., Mitchell Hardy, Heather Nichole Eldridge, Patrick Tierney, Kaitlyn Tierney and Bryan Tierney; great-grandchildren, Will Mahan, Sam Mahan, Carter Eldridge and Garett Eldridge. )

The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorials be directed to Immanuel Lutheran Church.
