LIPPINCOTT RITES HELD

MRS. J.W. LIPPINCOTT, 85, OF BLAIR, BURIED AFTER CATHOLIC RITES

Mrs. Margaret (Maggie) Lippincott, 85, of 510 West Jackson St., died at 4:30 a.m. Saturday at Blair Hospital. Widow of James W. Lippincott, who died 18 years ago, Mrs. Lippincott had resided in Washington County the past 76 years.

As Margaret Sullivan, Mrs. Lippincott was born in New Jersey Nov. 27, 1870 and moved to Herman as a young girl. She and Mr. Lippincott were married in April, 1890. Mr. Lippincott, who was a carpenter, died Nov. 13, 1938.

The body was taken to the Campbell Mortuary where the rosary was recited Sunday evening. Funeral services were held at 9:30 a.m. Monday at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church, the Rev. Edward C. O'Donnell officiating and interment followed in Holy Cross Cemetery.

Surviving Mrs. Lippincott is a daughter, Miss Mildred Lippincott of Omaha and Blair. There are several nephews and nieces.
