Delford John Henry Brandt, 85, of Fontanelle passed away on Monday, June 13th, 2016, at Fremont Area Medical Center. He was born on June 9, 1931, to Floyd and Marie (Tank) Brandt. On August 4th, 1950, he married Lois (Allen) Brandt and served in the U.S. Naval Reserves.

Delford enjoyed family, traveling, carving and flying planes. Delford is survived by his wife, Lois, of 65 years; five children, Gene (Bev) Brandt of Fontanelle, Robyne (Chris) Miller of Pierce, Bill (and Alese) Brandt of Fremont, Jim (Sharon) Brandt of Hooper, Lark (Randy) Rasmussen of Herman; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A private burial will be held at Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church of Fontanelle at a later date.
