Mrs. Chas. O. Hineline's mother, Mrs. W.L. Lusk, died at the Hineline home at DeSoto early Sunday morning and a short funeral service was held at the house at 9 o'clock yesterday morning conducted by Rev. Mr. Hargrove, of Logan, Ia., pastor of the Christian church, of which Mrs. Lusk was a member. Another service was held at the church in Logan at 2:30 in the afternoon. Deceased was born in Vernon county, Wis., December 11th, 1870, so was little past 50 years of age. When she was a small girl the family moved to Iowa and later to this state. She was married to W.L. Lusk at Brockburg, Neb., December 25th, 1887, and they made their home there for about seventeen years, when they moved to Logan, Iowa. Her health was so poorly she came over to make her home with her daughter, Mrs. Hineline last fall. She was in the Blair hospital twelve weeks and there seemed to be no help for her so she was taken to the Hineline home where death claimed her early Sunday morning. Four children were born to them. One son, Morton W. died of "Flu" in Canada in 1919 and the body was returned to Logan for burial. The other son, James, was killed in an auto accident near Logan July 18th, of last year. Another daughter, Hazel, works in Omaha. Mrs. Lusk was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, the Rebekahs and the W.R.C. in Logan.

Mrs. Wm. Lusk, aged fifty years, died last Sunday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Chas. Hineline of DeSoto.

Funeral services were held Tuesday morning from the home of the daughter, and the body was sent to Logan, Iowa on the 11 o’clock passenger where interment will be made.

Deceased leaves to mourn her two daughters, Hazel Lusk and Mrs. Chas. Hineline besides a devoted husband.
