Beloved aunt and sister

Edna F. Vogt, 96, died Thursday, March 24, 2011, at her home in Arlington. Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 29, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Arlington. Interment will be in St. Paul’s Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday at Reckmeyer-Moser Funeral Home in Arlington and will also be held one hour prior to services on Tuesday.

Edna F. Vogt was born Aug. 6, 1914, in Arlington to John W. and Anna M. (Stork) Vogt. She spent her life in the Arlington area. She was a caring aunt and loved spending time with her nieces and nephews.

She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Arlington, where she sang with the church choir and taught Sunday School.

She is survived by her brother, Rupert Vogt, and 12 nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Ernest and Harris Vogt; sisters, Ruth Vogt, Helen Sperling, Ann Marie Lottman and Mildred Vogt; two nephews and a niece.

Memorials are suggested to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.

The funeral for Edna F. Vogt, 96, of Arlington will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Arlington.

Edna died Thursday, March 24, 2011, at her home in Arlington.

Edna was born Aug. 6, 1914, in Arlington to John W. and Anna M. (Stork) Vogt. She spent her life in the Arlington area. She was a caring aunt and loved spending time with her nieces and nephews. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Arlington. She sang in the church choir and taught Sunday school.

Survivors include: brother, Rupert Vogt of Arlington and 12 nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by: brothers, Ernest and Harris Vogt; sisters, Ruth Vogt, Helen Sperling, Ann Marie Lottman and Mildred Vogt; two nephews and one niece.

The Rev. Rick Kanoy will officiate Tuesday’s service. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Monday at Reckmeyer-Moser Funeral Home in Arlington. Visitation will continue Tuesday one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at St. Paul’s Cemetery in Arlington.

Memorials may be directed to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Arlington.
