(veteran) Alfred Heaton, 68, of Fort Calhoun, died Wednesday, Oct. 22, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, at Roeder Mortuary, 2727 N. 108th Street, Omaha, with interment at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Omaha.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24, at Roeder Mortuary.

Alfred “Dan” Heaton was a member of the U. S. Naval Reserve.

He is survived by his wife, Charlene Heaton; three sons and daughters-in-law, David and Cindy Heaton, Brian Heaton and Kent and Aimy Heaton, a daughter and son-in-law, Renee and Gary Hausmann; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Richard J. and Barbara Heaton.

Memorials are suggested to Country Bible Church, Blair.
