Dorothy M. Heese, 79, of Wahoo, died Saturday, Nov. 10, 2007, at the Good Samaritan Center in Syracuse.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13 at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair. Interment will be in the Blair Cemetery.

Dorothy M. Miller was born July 20, 1928, in Oklahoma to Irvin and Maggie (Aman) Miller.

She was raised in Blair and graduated from Blair High School.

She met a fortune-teller who told her she would meet Uncle Jules and marry him; and she did. The couple farmed with his brother, Dave Heese, in the Hooper area for a few years, then moved to Wahoo, where they made their home.

Mrs. Heese worked for many years in the laundry department at Haven House in Wahoo.

She was a member of the Wahoo Eagles Club and Sewing Club.

She loved to garden, can and knit. She loved her family and was a very kind and giving person. She suffered many losses and still never had a bad word to say about anyone or anything.

She is survived by a son, David, of Lincoln; brothers, Ivan Miller of Syracuse, Robert Miller of Blair; Francis Miller of Hooper; brother-in-law, Richard Heese; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends, Jerry Conradt and Kathy Reiss.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Julius; daughter Mary Kay; brother, Hank, and brothers-and sisters-in-law.
