Funeral services for Anna J. Heidel, 94, of Arbor Manor, were held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 20, at Lattin-Dugan-Chambers Funeral Home. Mrs. Heidel died Wednesday at Arbor Manor. She was born June 23, 1891 in Washington. She farmed in the Washington area until moving to Fremont in 1943. Mrs. Heidel was a member of First Lutheran Church of Fremont. She married Jorgen Christensen March 15, 1911. He died October 21, 1951. She then married Arthur Heidel June 12, 1954. He died March 11, 1978. Mrs. Heidel is survived by on son, Harlan Christensen of Kennard; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Lorrie Roberts of Pittsburgh, Mrs. Harry (Dorothy) Puett and Mrs. Earl (Delores) Dockens, both of Manhattan, Kansas; two grandsons; and several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The Rev. Mark Grorud officiated at Saturday’s service. Burial was in Prairie View Cemetery in Washington. Find A Grave Memorial# 102732271
