Family, friends brought him greatest joy

Gary Forsythe, 61, of Blair died Saturday, March 19, 2011, at Methodist Hospital in Omaha.

A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, March 26, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair, with family receiving friends from 5 to 7 p.m.

Gary Forsythe was born on April 1, 1949, in Urbana, Ohio, to Norman W. and Patricia E. (Daulton) Forsythe. He graduated from high school in Urbana, Ohio.

He moved to Blair in 2005 and worked for Allied Reliability, at Cargill, as a vibration analyst.

He enjoyed fishing and camping, but his family and friends always brought him the greatest joy.

He is survived by a daughter, Blake Forsythe of Mississippi; son, Evan Forsythe of Blair; one grandchild; half brothers and sisters, David Egan, Urbana, Ohio, Judith (Forsythe) Parson, David Forsythe, Las Vegas, Nev., Valerie Forsythe, New York; stepmother, Carol Lee Forsythe, Pahrump, Nev.; aunt, Bonnie (Daulton) Kempf, Waco, Texas, and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, brothers, Michael and Timithy Forsythe; uncle, Robert Daulton; stepfather, Chuck Egan.
