“Queen Bee”

Jean M. Gable, 81, of Omaha, died March 21, 2011, in Omaha.

A funeral Mass was held Thursday, March 24, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Fort Calhoun. Interment was in the Fort Calhoun Cemetery.

Jean Marie Gable was born March 9, 1930, in Fort Dodge, Iowa. She was married to Joseph A. Gable.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Diane and Frank Manetti, Linda and Tim Winters, Jennifer and Jay Steadman, and Kari Gable, all of Omaha, Karen and Marty Connolly of Fort Calhoun, Cathy Coviello of Harrisonburg, Va., and Nancy and David Hartranft of Bellevue; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband.

Memorials are suggested to Fort Calhoun Fire & Rescue.

Sievers-Sprick Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
