Norma Helms, 82, died May 22, 2009, in Kennewick, Wash.

Services were Tuesday, May 26, at Riplinger Funeral Home in Spokane, Wash. Interment was at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery in Spokane.

Norma Jacobs was born March 8, 1927, in Blair, NE to Roy and Florence (Gilbert) Jacobs.

She is survived by her son, Dennis Helms of Billings, Mont.; daughters, Cathy Dow of Kennewick, Wash., and Debra Barnes of Madison, Ohio; a sister, Shirley Schock of Norfolk; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Helms, and a son, Perry Helms.
