Irene Hunsche, 81

Funeral services for Irene Hunsche, 81, will be held Tuesday, November 10, 1987 at 1:30 p.m. in the First United Methodist Church.

Irene died on November 7, 1987, at Crowell Memorial Home.

She was born October 17, 1906, at Ulysses to Paige and Estella Davis Anderson.

Irene graduated from Ulysses High School and on February 28, 1927 was united in marriage to Henry Hunsche at Garrison.

She worked in the Herman Telephone office as an operator and later in the accounting department for HunTel Systems, retiring in February, 1972.

Irene is survived by two daughters and one son; Mrs. Earl (Charlotte) Pace, Ralston; Mrs. Bob (Marion) Christensen, Denver Colorado, Warren (Bud) Hunsche, Blair; by her grandchildren: Cindy and Tom Pace, Linda Dietzen, Jon Christensen, Robert, Barbara and Terri Hunsche; eight great-grandchildren: Heather, Anthony, Robert and Jordan Hunsche; Michael, Suzanne, John and Elizabeth Dietzen; also survived by three brothers and one sister: Dale Anderson, Grand Island, John Anderson of Glenwood, Iowa,, and Burdette Anderson of Seattle, Washington; Mrs. Mabel Boysen, Portland, Oregon.

Irene was preceded in death by her parents, husband Henry in 1965, and one brother, Dean.

Pallbearers were Hugh Hunt, Richard Hunt, Jim Erwin, Dean Ogle and Ronald Hansen.

Burial was in the Blair Cemetery with Dr. Howard Bailey officiating.
