Kennard Matron Dies

Mrs. William Hunt, 40, a resident of Kennard for about 35 years, died at a Fremont hospital Monday afternoon following a year’s illness. She was taken to the hospital for treatment Saturday.

Mrs. Hunt, who was Dagmar Carlson before her marriage, was widely known in Kennard vicinity. She was born a short distance west of Omaha in Douglas county March 31, 1892, and when a young girl moved with her parents to Washington county to live.

Surviving are her husband, one daughter, Darlene Joan, her mother, Mrs. Anna Carlson of Kennard, and six sisters, Mrs. Nina Rasmussen, Scranton, Ia; Mrs. Mary Larson, Herman; Mrs. Dora Knutzen, Kennard; Mrs. Matilda Cunningham, Kennard, and Mrs. Carrie Khromberg, Irvington.

#2-16 June, 1932 - The Enterprise

Mrs. William Hunt passed away at the Fremont hospital this morning. Mrs. Hunt was formerly Miss Dagmar Carlson. Mr. and Mrs. Hunt have been making their home in Omaha since their marriage. On account of Mrs. Hunt’s ill health, they moved to Kennard about three weeks ago, purchasing the Buck Rosenbaum house west of town. Mrs. Hunt has been in ill health for some time. Her husband and her mother, Mrs. Carlson, have the sympathy of this community.
