CLARA LOFT

Former Blair resident Clara Jensen Loft died Friday, Sept. 11, 2009 in Chicago, Ill., following a brief illness.

A memorial service will be held at 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, at First Lutheran Church.

She was born in 1917 and was raised in Iowa . She married Clifford Loft in 1943.

She worked as a nurse for 14 years in Omaha.

Mr. and Mrs. Loft resided at Johansen Manor in Blair for several years. Mrs. Loft moved to Chicago in 2006.

She is survived by a son, John.

She was preceded in death by her husband, and a son, Richard.
