Preceded in death by mother, Alice Schenzel. Survived by father, Donald Schenzel (Gun); sister, Julie Darr. THERESA ANN “TERRI” SCHENZEL; Born on April 16, 1956 in Morgantown, West Virginia. Survived by parents, Emil and Virginia Alexander; two brothers, Michael Alexander and Patrick Alexander; and two sisters, Paulette Alexander and Amy Bracy. Together Ty and Terri are survived by their children: daughters, Emily Lanphier (Paul) and Annie Schenzel; sons, Tyler D. Schenzel and Turner Schenzel (Jade); and their grandchildren, Theo and Violet. The family will receive friends Tuesday, 6pm to 8 pm at Waypoint Church, 1313 No. 48th Ave. SERVICES Wednesday, 10am at Christ Community Church, 404 So. 108th Ave. Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park. They were killed Thursday along with two others in a collision.”) Services have been set for the Rev. Ty Schenzel, founder of the Hope Center for Kids in Omaha, and his wife, Terri. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Waypoint Church, 1313 N. 48th Ave., where Ty Schenzel was the associate and youth pastor and where Terri Schenzel worked with the women’s ministry. Ty Schenzel founded the Hope Center in 1998 and retired in may. It offers education, recreation, leadership, and spiritual programs for youths ages 5 to 19. The Schenzels also had an active ministry helping other couples in their marriages. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Christ Community Church, 404 S. 108th Ave. The family requests that memorials be made to the Waypoint Church Building Fund. Heafey-Hoffman-Dworak-Cutler West Center Chapel is handling arrangements.
