Mrs. Johanna McCarthy, a former resident of this city, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Walter Bulltes, in Chicago, on Monday of this week, and is to be buried in Omaha tomorrow. She was an early settler in this county, having lived on a farm three miles south for about thirty-five years. After her husband’s death, she went to live with her children in Omaha. One son, Michael, is on the Omaha police force, and another son, Charles, is an engineer on the Frisco road. One daughter, Mrs. Chas McGovern, wife of Councilman McGovern, lives in Omaha and three others live in Chicago.
