McQuarrie Rites Held

Miss Jeanette McQuarrie, 57, Dies; Once Was Blair School Teacher

Miss Jeanette McQuarrie, former Blair school teacher and daughter of a pioneer Blair family died Sunday morning at Norfolk, Nebr. She was 57 years old.

The body was returned to Blair, and funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Bendorf Funeral Home. The Rev. Donald H. Scheuer of the Congregational Church officiated, burial following in the Blair Cemetery.

Marguerite Jeanette McQuarrie, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John McQuarrie, was born in Blair Nov. 25, 1895. She was a graduate of Blair High School and the University of Nebraska, and later taught school in the local schools a number of years.

Surviving Miss McQuarrie are a brother, George McQuarrie of Blair, and two sisters, Miss Mae McQuarrie, Blair city librarian, and Mrs. John Bosquet (Miriam) of Springfield, Mass. A brother, Otis, and an infant sister, Mary Ellen, preceded her in death.
